The Trampoline

Most of you have never seen this thing because you don’t live in
Rotterdam. Some of you do live in Rotterdam, but have never had
the tendency to look up after going to the movies at Venster/Lantaarn
(Gouvernestraat, Rotterdam). Again, there are some who do live in
Rotterdam and look up after going to the movies, yet seeing nothing
but a faint image overgrown with plants and stuff...
Here’s Rigardus when he was still ‘bald’. Gyz took this picture after
the infamous Space Invader had left his mark in the down left corner
of the photograph. Under the right circumstances one can see them
smiling at each other... Dude!

The Rotterdam Giant (who actually used to live in the same street, in
the Nighttown offices) and his creators are proud to thank these guys
right here for support and realisation!

Our friend Geert Mul once claimed that it looks like a big trampoline,
attached to the wall... We’ve been calling it that ever since.
