here's some of this weekends' things to do in R'dam:
1. tonight there’s ‘acacadabra’ at 113b, starting at 10 pm.
if you know what it is, you’re welcome (to bring a friend also)
2. tonight Gyz and me play our weirdest records and our most
danceable stuff at the WaterFront cafe, during RESISTANCE.
expect a wild blend of Grace Jones, Shostakovic, Pole, Jay-Jay
Johanson, Ferenc, Jay-Z, Mell Allen, The Doors, Mozart, Sonic
Youth, Black Sheep, Dr. Octagon and much more.
3. Next Saturday there’s that earlier mentioned LLIK event,
look down for more info and mind that Arnoud (of de Vogels
and Oil) is cooking one of his famous soups!
4. Next Sunday you can either stay home, go see ‘Eternal
sunshine of the spotless mind’ at Cinerama or spend 10 euros
on the admittance for the new Harry Merry CD-release party
and GET THAT NEW CD FOR FREE! Nighttown teams up
with Tocado once again, bound to be great!
De scene: hier en nu, de mensen, de medespelenden, de
ooggetuigen, de plaats waar ‘het’ zich afspeelt. (Simon
Vinkenoog, ‘liefde’ / 1965 / de bezige bij / LRP 107)
i'm falling behind... had no idea that the oxes were playing in rotterdam. i was over at errorsmith et al in den haag anyway but would have liked to experience a saturday night entertainments' dilema - they're all too few! don't know if you have a mailing list but it would be appreciate it if you could add us.
october's little memo should be out at the end of the week so if you have anything that you'd like us to include, send me a mail as soon as you can.
if you've no idea what i'm blabbering on about, check www.zeloot.nl and littlememo.blogspot.com
see ya!
